Overview
This policy explains what personal information XCEL Sports & Fitness ("XCEL", "we", "us") collects through this website and at the facility, how we use it and the choices you have. XCEL operates the sports and fitness facility at 25 W Greenbrook Rd, Fairfield, NJ 07004.
Information you give us
Free day pass: your first and last name, email and phone number.
Contact, personal training, sports performance and rental requests: your name, email, phone number, your message, and the answers you choose to give about your goals, your athlete, availability and preferences.
Online membership signup: your name, email, phone number, address, and, if you choose to give them, your date of birth, gender and how you heard about us, plus the membership you chose and any coupon code.
Payment details: when you pay online, your card details are sent securely to our club management system, EZFacility, to process the payment. We do not store or log your full card number or security code.
Information collected automatically
Pages you visit, how long you stay and which buttons you click, linked to a random visitor ID stored in your browser. We use this to understand how the site is used. It does not include your name or contact details.
How you found us: the referring website, campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source or utm_campaign) and ad click identifiers from Google (gclid, gbraid, wbraid) or Meta (fbclid). These are kept in your browser and sent with any form you submit.
Your browser type, and the security check run by Cloudflare Turnstile to stop spam and fraud on our forms.
How we use your information
To arrange your free day pass, answer your questions and follow up about memberships, training, programs and rentals.
To create and manage your membership, take payments and send you your membership and welcome information.
To contact you by email, phone or text about your visit, your account and facility news and offers.
To measure and improve our advertising, for example to see which ads lead to visits and memberships.
To keep the website and our forms secure and to meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the facility and this website, and only for those purposes:
EZFacility, our club management and payment system (client accounts, memberships and payments).
HighLevel, our customer relationship system (contact details, requests and follow-up messages).
Resend, which sends our emails.
Google, for advertising measurement. When you sign up after clicking a Google ad, the ad click identifier, and in some cases your email or phone number in hashed (scrambled) form, may be shared with Google so it can match the signup to the ad. Google Tag Manager or Google Analytics may also run on the site.
Cloudflare, for bot and spam protection on our forms.
Our website host and database providers, which store the site and the information you submit.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.
We do not sell or share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing.
Cookies and ad tracking
We and our advertising partners use cookies and similar browser storage to remember how you found us, measure ad performance and count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. You can manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
Pages with a map show an embedded Google Map, and Google may set its own cookies when it loads.
Text messages and email
If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your visit, your account and facility updates and offers. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes above. That includes as long as you are a member or in contact with us, and longer where the law requires records to be kept. After that we delete or anonymize it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on our systems. No website or system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information online. Youth programs are booked by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing or targeted advertising. To make a request, email info@xcel.fit or call (973) 797-1222. We may need to confirm your identity first. Depending on where you live, including New Jersey, you may have additional rights under state privacy law, and we will honor requests as that law requires.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
